Accounts & Deposits

To open an account, please contact our team or visit any of our 320+ branch locations. A banker will guide you through the process, which typically takes about 15 minutes in-branch or over the phone.
Our FargosCapital Everyday Checking account has no monthly fee and no minimum balance. High-Yield Savings also has no minimum. Some premium accounts waive fees with a minimum balance — check our accounts comparison page for specifics.
No. This is a student/educational DEMO, not a real bank. There are no real accounts, no real deposits, and no FDIC insurance. All data shown is fictional sample data.
You can deposit funds via: (1) Mobile check deposit using the app, (2) ACH transfer from another bank account, (3) Wire transfer, (4) In-person at any branch or ATM, or (5) Zelle from another account. Mobile check deposits up to $5,000/day are available immediately for verified accounts.

Log in to online banking and navigate to Account Details to find your routing number (021000089) and account number. Provide these to your employer's payroll department. Direct deposits typically begin within 1–2 pay cycles. You can also download a pre-filled direct deposit form from the app.

Loans & Mortgages

Most conventional mortgages require a minimum credit score of 620. For our best advertised rates, a score of 740+ is recommended. FHA loans may be available with scores as low as 580. Our loan officers can review your full financial picture and recommend the best product for your situation.
Pre-approval is typically issued within 24 hours of a complete application. Full mortgage approval and closing typically takes 21–30 days. Our streamlined digital process means you can submit all documents online and sign closing documents electronically — no branch visit required.
Yes. There are no prepayment penalties on any of our personal loans, mortgages, or home equity products. You can make additional principal payments at any time through online banking or by calling your loan servicer. Early payoff reduces your total interest cost.
